Isi Trapido’s most awarded photo is Speed, 1964, depicting the Olympic gold medalist in speed skating, Ants Antson, during the training. Speed is a remarkable photo from its era expressing both the movement and the portrait of the skater at the same time.

Isi Trapido’s “Speed” (1964) is one of only three proved artist-made vintage gelatin silver prints in existence. One copy is held in the Estonian Museum of Photography, one was sold at Sotheby’s London in 2013 for ca £2500. This third copy is offered directly by the artist’s estate’s sole possessor Toomas Trapido.
