NFT Series “Speed”
Speed is based on the work of Estonian photographer Isi Trapido (1921-2003)
Using the original award-winning photo ’Speed’, Isi Trapido’s son Toomas Trapido and artist
Ave Teeääre have created a limited (15) NFT series.
The ’Speed’ NFTs are series of animations that come in three colour tones (original, warm,
cold) and each tone has 5 NFTs with the skater doing two laps in the rink in each NFT (laps 1-
2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10). In the end of the last lap the Olympic gold medal appears.
NFTs depicting the start and finish of the competition (laps 1-2 and 9-10) come with the
physical print of Speed signed and numbered by Toomas Trapido, also having the copy of Isi
Trapido’s author stamp.
